Over 200 of the 2024 Christmas Quizzes were sold.

This year saw a bumper number of entries for our annual Christmas Quiz, a new topic of film titles – which we obviously made too easy!

87 of you wonderful people returned entries, of which 37 had it 100% correct!

Where more than one answer fitted our clues, we did allow them, so an obscure 1914 film called The Clergyman was allowed for the much more famous The Godfather, for instance!

Before kick off on Tuesday night, Jack Bridge and Tom Hopper drew out the five winners.

Well done to Rod Turner (from Beverley, East Yorkshire – our Quiz does travel, we had one entry this year from Latvia!), for being drawn out as the first prize winner.

2nd prize went to Georgina Walton of London

3rd prize went to Stephen Furby of Southend

4th prize went to Matthew Eva of Wickford

and 5th prize, to Arron Ault of London

Thank you to everyone who supported our Quiz, and congratulations to all the prize winners. We’ll be in touch about claiming your prizes.

Look out for the next Big Xmas Quiz later this year.

The Trust would once again like to thank MSPFX Foreign Currency Services for their sponsorship of the quiz and Southend United FC and Paul FitzGerald for donation of prizes.
